Food Chain is a WIP roguelike melee combat game where you take on the role of an ant warrior fighting against hordes of bugs. Armed with nothing but your razor-sharp mandibles, you must navigate through a perilous underground labyrinth, battling ferocious insects and collecting their limbs to graft onto your own body for enhanced abilities.

Problem
During this project it was my job to find the best way to visually represent crucial components of game. After team brainstorming and discussion I determined the elements required included main menu, player health bars, ability/attack cooldowns, boss health bar, victory/death screens, shop interactions, a progression screen for between rooms, tooltips for limbs, & a pause screen w/ equipped limb descriptions.
